Mark received an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School where he graduated with Honors as a Palmer Scholar. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from MIT. Proficient in multiple Asian languages, including Khmer, Vietnamese, and Thai, Mark has resided and worked in Southeast Asia for 18 years.
Having co-founded and developed 10 companies in Thailand and the Region, Mark has extensive experience in business planning, strategy, finance, management and development in multiple industry sectors. He previously served as Finance Director of Bed Management Company and played a key role in its organization development and the success of Shinta Mani, Hôtel de la Paix and the Bed Supperclub group of companies. He supervised the financial management of multiple business units generating 400 million baht in annual revenues. He led the spin off process of bmc management in 2007 and took a lead role in the strategic joint venture process with Nadathur group in early 2009.
Prior to business school, Mark served as Vice President of HOPE worldwide, a leading international NGO where he was responsible for the development and operations of the largest free health care and training hospital in Cambodia.
