Esmond brings over 15 years of development, management and operations experience in diverse industries including hospitality and destination restaurants, information technology and manufacturing. His management experience includes several start-ups and has been in such areas as business development, operations, finance, concept design, procurement and project management.
He has been an integral part of the opening and operational teams on various projects including Nest, a rooftop lounge in Bangkok, Baan Laksasubha, a 32 unit boutique resort in Hua Hin, Long Table, a destination restaurant in Bangkok, Hôtel de la Paix, an award winning 5 star, luxury hotel in Siem Reap and Bed Supperclub, an internationally renowned restaurant and bar in Bangkok.
Esmond was the Project Manager for SilQ Bangkok and was appointed the opening General Manager in early 2009. He understands the unique challenges and opportunities that face owners and operators of small or medium-sized businesses.
